Florida Panther - Sometimes refered to as a couger, this mammal is a large cat with a muscular, compact body. Its ears are short and rounded and its nose is broad and flat. The panther has short, stiff fur that is a brownish-yellowish color.  The panther must have lots of space and abundant prey, and can be found in savannas, hardwood, hammocks, and mixed swamp forest.
